Dismantling the Apple iPod Touch 4th Generation - with a hair dryer!? (pictures)

@TechRepublic has a tradition of cracking open all new electronic gadgets, giving us the opportunity to see what is actually inside our beloved gadgets! They have done it again, and this time the victim is the iPod Touch (4G).

According to the "doctor", this was a tough operation that required the use of a hair dryer in order to disassemble the gadget!

What's your favourite app for your smartphone?

Apps are IN! Everyone is building apps! Everyone is using apps! But how do you find the best apps for exactly your purpose?

As the market for apps are growing so rapidly, I find it more and more difficult to find good apps for my mobile phone. I'm trying to limit the amount of apps I'm using, and try to find just one app for each service (twitter, facebook, etc.) that I'm using.

Actually I have found that looking at other people's favourite apps, helps me find the right app for my specific purpose. Which is why I wanted to post this on my blog, to get your input on your favourite apps for iPhone, Android, Symbian, etc... It might also be helpful for others :)

Facebook is building af phone!

If the smartphone market wasn't competitive enough, the Facebook-people have decided that it should be even more so! Rumor has it that Facebook is soon going to release a smartphone that will compete with Google Nexus, iPhone and all the other smartphones on the market.

There are plenty of Facebook apps to all the other smartphones, so why should they go and do something like this?? Well, maybe because they would be able to integrate deeply into the contacts list and other core functions of the phone. Something that would require full control over the operating system. At least that's the theory laid forward by TechCrunch.

Udvalget stiger dag for dag, flere og flere smartphones dukker op på markedet, nye styresystemer konkurrerer med hinanden, og det blir i det hele taget sværere og sværere at beslutte sig i hvilken retning man skal gå, når man skal vælge smartphone.
